AIA Continuing Education 

Continuing Education credits recognized by AIA and other professional organizations are available in several formats for design professional:

 

Online Video Courses

       SIPA’s Building Education with SIPs Training (BEST) Program training videos range from 30 to 50 minutes and are available online, no registration required. The following chapters provide insights for those interested in one particular aspect of SIP construction. Click on any video to go to a lesson summary page with a link to the instructional video and a link for the required 10-question quiz. Each lesson is AIA-accredited for Design Professionals seeking Continuing Education credits including up to 7.5 HSW credits. Your course completion will be reported after providing your AIA number. In addition, you will automatically receive a Certificate of Completion which can be submitted for other State and Engineering or Building Professional training requirements.

Instructor-led Courses on Residential and Commercial Designs with SIPs

       These two courses and subsequent materials are available as instructor-led training fulfilling 1-hour of HSW credit per course. Similar to the BEST video series, these are available in ClassMarker. Each lesson is AIA-accredited for Design Professionals seeking Continuing Education credits including up to 2 additional HSW credits.        A face-to-face presentation by a SIPA member is the most engaging way to introduce SIPs to your company. SIPA members are located nationwide and in Canada. Complete this online form to request a SIP presentation.
