The SIP wall boasts a thickness of 6-1/2" panel with an EPS core, providing an impressive R-value of 23. For the roof, we've utilized a 12-1/4" panel with EPS core, ensuring a high R-value of 45.
Constructing with SIPs offers numerous advantages, including swift construction, reduced labor trades, superior quality, and enhanced energy efficiency. To achieve larger roof spans and create expansive open floor plan areas, we've integrated SIPs with I-joists in the panel joints for added reinforcement.
Our commitment to energy efficiency is reflected in our impressive HERS index of 16, coupled with an ACH50 rating of 1.19. For heating and cooling, we've implemented Air Source Heat Pumps as part of our HVAC system.
The home's windows feature a U-value of 0.28 and a Solar Heat Gain Coefficient (SHGC) of 0.3, ensuring optimal insulation and energy performance.
