SIPs construct a highly energy-efficient building. When considering all the steps needed to be taken with conventional framing, North Point estimates SIPs reduced the erection labor of the building by 35% compared to traditional stick framing/installation and sheathing. North Point took advantage of using BCX plywood faced SIPs in the roof.
