The building serves as an emergency equipment station and 6-bay ambulance station for Pafford Emergency Medical Services in Ridgeland, MS.

It was extremely important to finish the project as quickly as possible without compromising structural integrity or durability, which is ultimately why SIPs were chosen as the construction method. Another key role in using SIPs on this project was the air-tightness of the product. With 6 large garage doors for emergency vehicles, the builder wanted to ensure the end-users of the building would be able to appreciate the increased indoor air quality and lower utility bills.

SIP wall thickness: 8 1/4"
SIP roof thickness: 10 1/4"

HVAC system:
The whole space is conditioned by one 5-ton unit. The HVAC was an important consideration for the comfort of employees due to the large garage doors required for ambulance access.
