This family lake house project selected SIPs due its ability to complete envelope quicker by three way: structure, insulation and exterior skin. This enable other trades to start earlier than anticipated.
This project was designed with clean horizontal lines, with a touch of Frank Lloyd Wright. Many cantilevered porches, roof etc.
One very interesting design to this build is the limited exterior post. Also the soffit was also designed to house roof drainage system, which than drain through the interior walls.
