This Funeral Home project was built with EPS SIPs due owner's previous experience building with this material. Owner has been extremely happy with the energy efficiency and air tightness. The air tightness factor was important for interior division walls to keep fumes from the garage and prep rooms out of the service space.
Wall thickness: 6” wall with 5.5” thick EPA foam
Roof thickness: Truss system with blown insulation
Using SIPS significantly help with labor time saving on a project with a tight deadline, they will also save on energy costs for the life of the building.
