How did SIP construction help you get this Job? The owner had family members that had previously built using SIPs for a project and knew the energy saving benefits of building with SIPs.

Benefits of using SIPs on this project. Did SIPs help save time, labor, construction costs, or energy? The benefits of using SIPs for this project was that we were able to construct the shell of the building in a very rapid manor and were able to keep the other trades for the project on schedule.

Describe any innovative design elements or structural engineering involved: The owner was able to conceal all of the electrical lines in the SIP panels and did not have to run conduit lines like most large storage buildings.

Describe the HVAC system used on the project: In floor radiant heat and ductless mini split for cooling

Describe any other energy-saving materials used in the building envelope other than SIPs. List U-values of windows used and the U or R-value of any insulation materials: 2" high density foam board under the slab and vertically around the foundation.

Were any solar panels installed on the project? Have not yet been installed.
