Speed of construction to beat seasonal needs and get operational before winter, as well as meet Colorado's progressive energy code standards currently at 2021. The station stands alone in a previously undeveloped site, and serves as a clinic space, living space and apparatus bay.

Contractor extremely familiar with SIPS and understood the installation advantages for faster occupancy. Colorado also adheres to the most current ICC-ES codes and SIPS easily helped meet the 2018 energy code requirements without extensive energy modeling needs. Contractor worked with Fire District and designers to create design optimized for SIPS.
