Benefits of using SIPs on this project. Did SIPs help save time, labor, construction costs, or energy? Yes, SIPs panels did help with these. With the walls being 10' high, there was no blocking of seams and shear walls. Garage is 14' high, so we were able to use jumbo panels.
HVAC: Rheem R95TC 1001521MSA 100,000 BTU HE furnace with an ECM blower motor, 4 zone system with LL 1/2 exposure SIPS panels, 13 seer air conditioner.

Any additional comments on the project: This house is in the country, with no surrounding trees. Efficiency of SIPs panels helps with heating and cooling. Next door neighbor is now interested in building a SIP home with us.
