Situated in the forward-thinking campus of California State University Long Beach, Preflex is proud to have realized a visionary educational edifice designed to usher students into the future of architecture and building through immersive SIPs learning as part of the CSULB solar decathlon team. This architectural beacon encompasses 858 sq. ft. of efficiently utilized space, offering a one-bedroom layout accompanied by a living room, dining area, kitchen and bathroom.
Constructed with a remarkable 3,390 sq. ft. of SIP materials, the structure stands with 6” R-24 walls and 8” R-32 roofs, promising both sustainability and optimized energy efficiency. PREFLEX is honored to nurture future architects and builders, equipping them with hands-on experience of the methods and sustainable materials that define the new wave in construction.
