The owner wanted a sustainable energy efficient house and SIPs exceeded making this happen. The architect was also on board with the SIPS and helping to bring SIP construction into the build.

SIP roof thickness and core material: 12.25" 6,684 Sq. Ft.

The house is a very contemporary design complementing the use of SIPS in the overall construction. The SIPS saved monthly and labor costs whereas it would have taken longer were it a built done conventionally.
Describe any innovative design elements or structural engineering involved:
The architect and engineer took advantage of the long spans SIPS has to offer. The owner and architect wanted a clean, clear span look without seeing multiple beams holding up the roof structure. SIPS help us to achieve the clean roof spans with the help of the innovative design by the engineer and builder.
Describe the HVAC system used on the project:
The overall HVAC is a forced air design and it was downsized by 65% due to the energy efficiency of the SIP construction
