The energy efficiency and ease of construction were the 2 main reasons, plus it is a one-step system that is consumer friendly
SIP wall thickness and core material: R26 6”
SIP roof thickness and core material: R-50 with 10” neopor roof

Sips were easy to install for a crew that this was their first install of SIPS. It did save time and lessen the waste on the job site. It will save energy and provide an environment that is healthy, quiet and efficient.

Long sloping roofs allowed the maximum benefit of roof panels
