BRANZ is an independent New Zealand research, testing and consultancy organisation providing impartial, evidence-based building and construction advice to industry and government. With pressure on housing increasing, the use of SIPs is growing in New Zealand. BRANZ is researching the durability, seismic resilience and fire performance of SIPs in the local context. It also provides a compliance pathway that allows manufacturers to show their products meet the requirements of the Building Code.
