Registered SIP Builders

BEST program graduates will be invited to join SIPA at a $50 discount. Your online Member Directory Profile will indicate that you are a Registered SIP Builder. SIPA's program logo can be used on your company's marketing materials. 

Designation as a Registered SIP Builder helps establish your company as a capable SIP installer. 

Master SIP Builders

Master SIP Builder status is available for builders who have been working with SIPs for more than 5 years or have constructed a minimum of 10 SIP buildings. Applicants must demonstrate competency through an online test and describe their SIP construction experience. The application is subject to review by the SIPA Education Committee.

  1. Complete the SIPA Master Builder Application
  2. Pass the 100-question SIPA Registered Builder test with a score of 80 percent or better. Your test results will automatically be sent to SIPA.
  3. Submit a blower door test result conducted by a RESNET certified energy rater from a recently completed SIP project with a result not to exceed 2.0 ACH50
  4. Complete the SIPA Master Builder Checklist on the blower door tested project
