SIPA member manufacturer Energy Panel Structures, Inc. has completed the purchase of Fingerlakes Construction Company, Inc. The Fingerlakes manufacturing division and personnel will remain at their company headquarters in Clyde, New York, with plans to add the broad line of Energy Panel Structures (EPS) products to enhance the growth of the facility.
Fingerlakes Construction Company was started in 1969 by Frank Brisky and is currently owned by Bob Brisky, who expanded the company from one to four locations; with branch offices located in Batavia, Homer and Albany. Bob is a director of the National Frame Builders Association (NFBA) and a member of the NFBA Hall of Fame.
Fingerlakes currently manufactures complete post frame building packages for a wide variety of construction applications, ranging from personal garages to large commercial buildings and agricultural facilities.
“Both companies have a history of success in the building industry,” stated Bob Brisky. “Our company fits perfectly with the existing EPS product lines. EPS is an employee-owned company with over 30 years of experience in designing and manufacturing pre-engineered building systems.”
“Our staff and customers will have access to the experience and quality products from a leading manufacturer of structural insulated panels (SIPs) and pre-engineered post frame building systems,” Brisky added.
EPS was established in 1981 as a subsidiary of MacArthur Company. They manufacture products for ENERGY STAR homes and are known for a diverse market of products including residential, agricultural, commercial, food processing and structural insulated panel systems.
