The 2011 2012 Jerry Rouleau Awards for Excellence in Marketing and Home Design has honored SIPA member manufacturer Insulspan with two awards in the category of panelized home design. These recognitions were awarded by the Building Systems Council (BSC) of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB)—a trade association that represents the log home, panelized, and modular home building industries.
Insulspan submitted the winning entry for the category of Home Design for Panelized Home Green Building with the stunning Lefebvre residence (pictured above). Constructed in a cold climate, the home keeps utility costs low with SIPs for the walls and roof, an insulated concrete form (ICF) basement, a passive solar design, and radiant heating.
The second award received by Insulspan was an Honorable Mention to a Delaware home for excellence in home design in a panelized home over 4,001 sq. ft.
