New Structural Insulated Panels Blog on Fine Homebuilding Website
Assistant Editor John Ross is delving deep into the world of structural insulated panels (SIPs) on assignment for Fine Homebuilding magazine. He is currently signed up to attend a SIP-installer certification course at the SIP School and will be posting daily blog entries on what he is learning.
“Immediately I knew I was going to need a better grasp of the subject than I could get by simply visiting a job site and taking a few pictures,” said Ross.
To access the SIP blog go to www.finehombuilding.com and click on the link to the SIPs blog, or go directly to www.sipbuilding.wordpress.com
Starting Monday, Nov. 27, Ross will upload pictures, explanations, and his impressions of the latest techniques and technologies for installing SIPs. Ross’ blog offers industry insiders a look at what a first impression of SIPs might be. For those new to this emerging building technology, it provides insight and learning from the ground up.
