Jacob E. Manch Elementary School

Las Vegas firm SSA Architecture was able to cut energy use by 50 percent and save more than $1 million dollars from the construction budget by specifying SIPs for this 68,000 sq. ft. elementary school. 

 

 

SIP Nailbase Insulation Remodeling

Learn how builder Ted Clifton conducts energy-efficient remodels by applying SIP nailbase insulation to the outside of existing homes.  Combined with new windows and a new heating system, Clifton was able to reduce heating costs for this 2,900 sq. ft. home by 80 percent.

 

 

Scott Homes

Washington-based builder Scott Bergford explains how building SIPs has set him apart from the competition and helped him claim the Energy Value Housing Award for Builder of the Year from the U.S. Department of Energy.

 

 

Silverwood Park Visitors Center

Outside of Minneapolis, Minnesota, this 19,000 square foot visitors center offers stunning views of Silver Lake with a low carbon footprint.  Prefabricated SIPs reduced framing time and met the clients loft goals for energy efficiency.
