Building Excellence Awards
The Structural Insulated Panel Association (SIPA) is proud to announce the 2010 Building Excellence Awards competition. Now in its eighth year, this unique competition recognizes SIPA members building energy efficient homes and commercial buildings with structural insulated panels (SIPs).
Member entries provide valuable case studies that demonstrate the energy efficiency, design flexibility and green building attributes of structural insulated panel technology. Homes and commercial buildings completed between January 1, 2009 and December 31, 2009 are eligible for awards. Special recognition will be given to any residential project that reaches a HERS Index of 30, the national energy savings goal for 2030 proposed in pending legislation. Award categories include:
Single Family Homes over 3,000 sq. ft.
Single Family Homes under 3,000 sq. ft.
Multi-Family Commercial Buildings
Agricultural Structures
Commercial/Industrial/Institutional Structures
Renovations (residential or commercial)
