SIPA Registered Builder Program
The SIPA Registered Builder Program offers training and distinction for installers of structural insulated panels. SIPA Registered Builders and Master Builders have the knowledge and training to construct SIP building enclosures that are safe, durable, and energy efficient.
See the SIPA membership directory for a list SIPA Registered Master Builders.
SIPA Registered Builder Training
Enrolling in the SIPA Registered Builder Program is a great way to market your company as a trained SIP installer. Registered Builders can use the SIPA Registered Builder logo in their marketing materials and indicate their designation on their online membership profile.
There are two levels of training in the SIPA Registered Builder Program. To become a SIPA Registered Builder, participants must complete an online training program at Green Builder College.
After completing the online training program, builders can advance to become a SIPA Registered Master Builder by attending a hands-on training workshop and submitting a blower door test from a completed SIP project. SIPA offers two alternative compliance options for builders that have more than 5 years of experience working with SIPs or have attended the SIPschool’s SIPs 301 Installation for SIPs Professionals course.
