SIPA's Jack Armstrong, Executive Director, attends Capital Hill HPBC Luncheon on April 21, 2016

April 21, 2016 SIPA Executive Director, Jack Armstrong, attends the High Performance Building Coalition (HPBC) Lunchoen on Capital Hill in Washington DC.  HPBC is a coalition of approximately 200 organizations and companies that provides guidance and support to the High Performance Building Caucus of the U.S. House of Representatives.  The lunchoen was designed to provide an opportunity to hear about energy efficiency, water efficiency, and building resiliency appropriations priorities. SIPA is a sponsor of HPBC.

Discussions to include federal programs that protect life and property, promotes innovative technologies, enhance U.S. economic competitiveness, increase energy and water efficiency in commercial and residential buildings, advance sustainable and resilient communities, and support the development of private sector standards, codes, and guidelines that address these concerns.
